Terms & conditions
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Ainevoie website, provider onboarding flow, account areas, newsletter, contact form, and any related marketplace features that are made available from time to time (together, the "Platform"). Ainevoie is a marketplace for connecting customers with independent service providers, including cleaning and related services.
By using the Platform or creating an account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
1. Operator and contact
The Platform is operated by the legal entity responsible for Ainevoie, established in Romania and identified in the public contact details of the Platform. The Operator's activity related to the website and application includes, for CAEN classification purposes, business and management consultancy activities (CAEN 7020). Until full company details are published in the dedicated legal notice, you can contact us at contact@ai-nevoie.ro.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit provider onboarding information, request services, or use paid features. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information and must not impersonate another person or entity.
3. Nature of the Platform
Ainevoie facilitates discovery, communication, onboarding, scheduling, and, where enabled, payment or subscription flows. The User expressly understands and accepts that the Platform acts exclusively as a technical intermediary and a virtual space connecting customers with independent cleaning service Providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Platform Operator does not provide cleaning services, is not an employer, agent, principal, partner, or associate of the cleaning service Providers, and does not exercise any operational control or supervision over their activity. The Operator is not a party to the service contract between a customer and an independent provider.
Providers are independent professionals or businesses. They are responsible for the legality, quality, safety, price, tax treatment, insurance, authorisations, and performance of their services.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, misuse, or a security incident involving your account.
We may refuse registration, request additional information, suspend access, or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate suspected abuse, or enforce these Terms.
5. Provider onboarding and verification
Provider onboarding may require contact details, business or professional details, service area, legal status, company identifiers, profile images, availability, and verification documents. You confirm that all information and files submitted are true, lawful, current, and that you have the right to provide them.
Submitting information does not guarantee approval, visibility, ranking, access to bookings, or availability of paid features. We may approve, reject, suspend, or request corrections to a provider profile where necessary for trust, safety, legal compliance, or platform quality.
6. Customer and provider responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate request information, communicate respectfully, comply with agreed bookings, and pay applicable fees where payment is enabled.
Providers must comply with applicable laws, hold required licences or registrations, issue invoices or receipts where required, maintain suitable insurance where applicable, and perform services with professional care.
Both customers and providers are responsible for resolving practical service details such as access, scope, timing, cancellation, rescheduling, quality issues, and any safety requirements.
7. Bookings, cancellations, and availability
Booking, cancellation, and rescheduling rules may be displayed in the Platform, in the relevant flow, or communicated separately. Repeated no-shows, abusive cancellations, inaccurate availability, or failure to attend agreed appointments may result in account restrictions.
Features may be released gradually. Some functionality described on the website may be in prelaunch, testing, or limited availability.
8. Payments, subscriptions, and third-party payment providers
Where payments or subscriptions are enabled, they may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Ainevoie does not store full card details. Payment provider terms, privacy notices, and authentication requirements may apply.
Prices, taxes, subscription terms, commissions, renewal rules, cancellation rules, and refund conditions will be shown in the relevant purchase or subscription flow where applicable. Providers remain responsible for their own taxes and legal accounting obligations unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
9. Reviews, ratings, and user content
You may be able to submit profile content, messages, reviews, ratings, images, documents, or other content. You must not submit illegal, misleading, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, spam, malware, or rights-infringing content.
You retain your rights in your content, but grant Ainevoie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may moderate, hide, remove, or restrict content that appears to breach these Terms, the law, platform safety rules, or third-party rights.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Platform. This includes:
- unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity;
- scraping, harvesting, or using other users' data without a valid legal basis;
- attempting to bypass authentication, security, rate limits, or access controls;
- uploading malware, harmful files, or documents that you are not entitled to share;
- manipulating ratings, reviews, search results, subscriptions, payments, or referrals;
- interfering with the availability or integrity of the Platform.
11. Intellectual property
The Ainevoie name, logo, interface, text, graphics, software, and other Platform materials are owned by Ainevoie or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
12. Third-party services
The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services such as Firebase/Google Cloud, Stripe, email delivery services, hosting, analytics, error monitoring, or content tools. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
13. Nature of the intermediary and operational control
The User expressly understands and accepts that the Platform acts exclusively as a technical intermediary and a virtual space connecting customers with independent cleaning service Providers. The Platform Operator does not provide cleaning services, is not an employer, agent, principal, partner, or associate of the cleaning service Providers, and does not exercise any operational control or supervision over their activity.
14. Exclusion of liability for damages
In accordance with the applicable legal provisions regarding the independence of the intermediary and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform Operator shall not be held liable, in any situation, for any material damages (including, but not limited to: destruction, damage, or loss of goods, equipment, finishes, or surfaces at the Customer's location), moral damages, bodily injury, or any other direct or indirect damages caused by the cleaning service Provider, or by its employees, collaborators, or subcontractors, during or in connection with the performance of services contracted through the Platform.
15. Direct liability of the Provider
Full civil, contractual, or tort liability for the quality of cleaning services and for any damage caused at the Customer's location rests exclusively and entirely with the cleaning service Provider that accepted and performed the order. Any claim, dispute, or request for compensation made by the Customer shall be addressed directly and exclusively to the relevant service Provider, the Platform Operator being released from any obligation to pay or to mediate patrimonial disputes, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
16. Limited warranties regarding provider verification
The Platform Operator makes reasonable efforts to verify the identity and registration documents submitted by service Providers at the time of enrolment on the Platform. However, the Operator does not guarantee the integrity, professional conduct, solvency, or quality of the services provided by them. The Customer fully assumes the risk of selecting and allowing the Provider access to their private premises.
17. Platform disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, continuous availability of any provider, or any specific service outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ainevoie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Ainevoie is not responsible for the conduct, omissions, service quality, tax compliance, insurance, authorisations, or statements of independent customers or providers, except where mandatory law states otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
18. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or respond to security risks. You may request account deletion by contacting us or using available account settings. Certain records may be retained where required by law, dispute handling, fraud prevention, accounting, or security.
19. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated by email, notice, or in-app message where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. The competent Romanian courts will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides another forum.
Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue amicably.
